Well, as promised, here is an update to my current status and fitness goals.
As most of you who have been following this site know, I am an avid suporter of the beachbody lifestyle and products. The main reason for this, is that they just work. And, they work well.
Since doing P90x my fitness has increased dramatically, my health is better, I feel better and all the rest of the statements you always hear about a healthy lifestyle.
But…
This is the kicker, I dropped my weight by about 20 pounds or so, and then it stopped dropping. Thus leaving me still about 20 pounds over what I should be with my curent physical condition. I tried examining my diet, upping my intensity level of my workouts, all to no avail. I tried switching my diet around, counting calories, nothing seemed to matter. No matter what I did, I stayed within a 5 pound range. I was really starting to get frustrated, so I began to do some research on how I could get these pounds off and not have to worry about dieting ever again.
I found the answer…
I had read the book, “The Diet Cure They Don’t Want You To Know About” a couple of years ago, but the routine in it was outrageous in cost and almost impossible to find in this country. But to my surprise, it is readily available here now. So, I started checking into companies that supply the sublingual drops of the HCG that you use on the diet protocol and I decided to give it a try.
To start, I went ahead and ate junk and basically unhealthy between Christmas and New Years, planning to get a fresh start at the first of the year.
My HCG Drops arrived on the 2nd of January, so I read up on the instructions and started my HCG diet on the 3rd.
My starting weight was 217.2. On this diet, you weigh daily and you eat sparingly. I won’t go into all the details of the diet protocol, just that you eat the foods they tell you to eat, in the quantity they tell you to eat them and you take the HCG drops under your tongue for the number of times your routine tells you to.
The HCG causes your body to assimilate unwanted fat reserves without touching your hard gained muscle or bone tissue. It also feeds your body a massive amount of calories without having to eat much. There is no hunger, with the exception of habitual eating cravings, and by that I mean, you still have the habit of wanting something while bored or watching TV, but no physical hunger.
Does it work?….
So far I am down 21 pounds in only 20 days, so I am well on my way to losing the rest of my unwanted weight.
The only drawback to the routine, is that you are to do only light Yoga or light cardio on the diet, and I crave to get back into my P90x routines. So, I have set my mind to the fact that this is a good chance for my body to recoup and become fresh for another awesome P90x routine in the near future. 15 – 20 pounds to go and I will be home free again.
